Onward and Upward: Laurie Kantner

Tec-Ed is pleased to announce the promotion of Laurie Kantner, senior usability researcher, to director of client services.

With business booming and Tec-Ed staff and associates working to capacity, we need Laurie’s expertise and experience more than ever. In her new role, Laurie will oversee Tec-Ed’s consultants and work with the entire Tec-Ed team to ensure productive research and continued high client satisfaction.

She is well qualified to lead Tec-Ed consultants as they provide design services and conduct research. Laurie has designed and administered countless usability studies of websites, software, web-based applications, handheld devices, and documentation for such clients as the National Institutes of Health, McGraw-Hill, eBay, IEEE, Intuit, Cisco, Diebold, Logitech, Yahoo!, and AOL/Netscape.

Laurie is enthusiastic about her new role, explaining, “I’m excited to have a key role in managing Tec-Ed talent as we expand our services into more industries.” She will continue to work closely with Stephanie Rosenbaum, Tec-Ed’s founder; Scott Watkins, COO; and Barbra Wells, business development director.
